Did 'Ketamine Queen' Jasveen Sangha refer to Matthew Perry as 'Chandler'?

Jasveen Sangha, who has been indicted in the case of Matthew Perry's death from Ketamine, likely used the code name "Chandler" to refer to him in communications. Chandler was Perry's character's name in the famous sitcom FRIENDS.

Page Six reported that prosecutors state that Sangha referred to Perry “using a name of a well-known character that [Perry] portrayed in a television series.”

"Ketamine Queen" Sangha has been in the news ever since she was charged, along with four others, a few days back in Perry's death who died of an overdose in October last year. Investigators say that Sangha provided the lethal dose of ketamine that led to the actor's death.

The revelation was made in Perry’s acquaintance Erik Fleming’s plea agreement. The exact character name was not mentioned in the documents. Other popular TV series that Perry starred in include “The Odd Couple,” “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and “Go On.”

Sangha is a 41-year-old dual British and American citizen and has allegedly been running a drug operation out of her North Hollywood home. Federal authorities have been keeping a tab on her involvement in the distribution of dangerous narcotics. Officials claim she stored and packaged various narcotics at her home.

A federal indictment describes her residence as a "drug-selling emporium" filled with methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drugs like Xanax.

Sangha has reportedly been involved in drug operations since June 2019. She was busted in March for selling methamphetamine in an unrelated case. Federal agents seized 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and nearly 2,000 meth pills during a raid at her home.

Matthew Perry case developments

Fleming has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death. His personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa and two doctors, Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, are the other three arrested in the case.

Sangha allegedly gave Fleming 50 vials of ketamine in the weeks leading up to Perry's death. Fleming delivered two large batches to his home on October 14 and October 24.

As per court documents, the two doctors allegedly talked about getting Perry to pay more money for the drug. “I wonder how much this moron will pay” and “Lets [sic] find out", the papers state.

Meanwhile, Iwamasa has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and has also admitted to injecting Perry with the drug on the day he died. Chavez has admitted to selling ketamine to Plasencia and has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine. The latter is currently out on a $100,000 bail after pleading guilty.
