Deepika Padukone to finally work with Salman Khan in 'Kick 2'?

For all those who have waited for Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan to come together for a film might just have good news served to them.

Reportedly, Salman Khan’s hit film ‘Kick’ will soon get a sequel ‘Kick 2’ and Deepika is being considered for the female lead.

Rumours suggest that producer Sajid Nadiadwala wants to bring this untried Jodi together but since Deepika can’t be cast as just another heroine -- the role is being carefully written and moulded. A source close to the project was cited in Deccan Chronicle, “If you remember, Deepika was the first choice for Kick. But somehow it didn’t work out. Jacqueline was brought in and Kick changed the course of her career.”

The source added, “For Kick 2, Deepika can’t play just a typical Salman heroine. Her role has to be as powerful as Salman’s. Sajid is working on it, injecting heft into the female lead.”
