Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt set to open Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' this season?

Filmmaker Karan Johar always manages to make the unthinkable possible. Remember the last season of his hit chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ when he brought in both Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor on the couch together? Who could have thought that? This season it is being speculated that he might bring in their respective partners on the couch -- Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. (Deepika has been dating Ranveer for a couple of years now but the couple hasn’t really opened up ever while Ranbir and Alia started dating very recently. Ranbir has admitted to seeing Alia and said ‘It’s really new’). However, it was earlier reported that Ranbir-Alia will appear on the show together, but on one condition.
According to a report published in a daily, a source revealed that the girls Alia and Deepika will shoot for their episode next week. As far as their topic of discussion is concerned, they will touch on "girl power, the changing role of women in films today and their real-life friendship, among other things."
We are only hoping that Deepika finally talks about her rumoured wedding with Ranveer Singh that is said to take place in November this year. It would be amazing if Alia opens up on her relationship with Ranbir too.
Karan’s chat show is soon to return with a new series of guests for the sixth run on October 21.
Meanwhile, Karan shared a picture recently with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone in one frame as they partied together at Ranbir’s house.
