Cannes 2024: Queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sparkles on the red carpet in black-white and gold

The Cannes Film Festival is incomplete without Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The Bollywood diva has been a regular at Cannes over the last two decades and has given us several iconic looks. On Thursday, she made her maiden appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in a black and golden gown with dramatic white balloon sleeves and a long trail.

Aishwarya walkedthe red carpet at the screening of Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis as a brand ambassador of the beauty brand L'Oreal Paris.

She chose an outfit from the designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock for the first day at the festival. The former Miss World let her show-stealing ensemble do the fashion talk, keeping it simple and elegant as the former Miss World loosely tied her hair and completed her look with golden hoops. She however was spotted with a cast on her hand as she posed for pictures.

Aishwarya arrived at the French Riviera with her travel companion - her teenage daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on Thursday. Aishwarya and Aaradhya were welcomed at Cannes with a bouquet. They were pictured at Hotel Martinez at Cannes.

The duo were pictured at the Mumbai airport last night. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was pictured wearing an arm sling which sparked concerns among her fans.

This is Aishwarya Rai's 22nd year at the Cannes Film Festival. Joining her at Cannes this year will be fellow actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Shobita Dhulipala, Jacqueline Fernandes and Kiara Advani.
