BTS makes strong statement supporting Black Lives Matter

In a strong statement of support for the Black Lives Matter movement that is trending worldwide, Korean pop band BTS made a progressive move by calling out racism.
BTS took to their Twitter profile as they shared a statement of solidarity with the Black community. Written both in Korean and English, they said, "We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together. #BlackLivesMatter."
It is one of the rarest times when BTS has taken a political stand.They generally steer away from making such statements and maintain a clean image.
BTS is extremely popular around the world, having generated chartbusting music that has broken records.
Soon after the post went out, the ARMY staggered in support of the stance. They, in fact, flooded the toxic hashtags with memes and other content to drown out the hateful messaging and started trending #WhiteLivesMatter, #BlueLivesMatter and #MAGA.
