Singer Arijit Singh's Dubai concert has become the talk of the internet. Any guesses why? Because of the singer's sweet shout-out to the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, after the Bollywood singer failed to recognise her.

At his recent gig in Dubai, Arijitsang the song ''Zaalima'' from Shah Rukh Khan's movie Raees. Incidentally, Mahira, on whom the song has been picturised, was sitting in the front row but Arijit failed to recognise her.However, Arijitwas quick to offer an apology to the actress.

Making up for his little mistake, the ''Tum Hi Ho'' singer gave an adorable shout-out to the actress from the stage.

In the clip that has now taken the internet by storm, Arijit can be heard saying, ''You guys must be surprised, should I reveal. I should reveal in a very nice way,'' he says.

''Can we have camera there. I have been trying to recognise this person, then remembered I have sung for her. Ladies and gentlemen Mahira Khan sitting right infront of me. Think about I was singing her song ''Zaalima'' and it's her song and she was singing and standing and I couldn't recognise her. I am so sorry. Maam gratitude and thank you so much,โ€ he says.

The camera pans towards Mahira and shows her on the big digital screen. Dressed casually, the actress waved at the audience with her sweet smile.

For the unaware, Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut with Raees in 2017 alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She's a popular face in the Pakistani film and TV industry and has been part of several superhit Pakistani movies and shows including Humsafar,Manto, Bol, Bin Royeand others.
