TMKOC's Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar expresses concern for Gurucharan Singh: 'Hoping he's well..'

A policeinvestigation is currently underway for the Indian daily soapTaarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma actor Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Singh Sodhi. The actor has been missing for over four days now and was last spotted near Delhi airport before he wasto catch the flight toMumbai on April 22. After not being able toget in touch with him, Singh's father filed a missing complaint, after which the police launched aprobe for the actor.

Earlier this week, Delhi DCP South-west Rohit Meena said in a press conference that they are investigating from multiple angles as they are looking for ''footage and technical investigation.''

Amid this, a video has emerged online showing Singh crossing a road in New Delhi's Palam area carrying his backpack. As per reports, the Police havelookedinto Gurucharan Singh‘s bank records. He was last seen withdrawing cash from an ATM. His phone was last activeon April 24.

The last location of Gurcharan’s mobile was a few kilometres away from his Palam house in Delhi.

Gurucharan Singh's fans and friends from the industry have shown concern for the actor. His Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashamah co-star Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays Bhide in the show, has reacted to the actor's missing report, saying that he's hoping and praying all is well.

Speaking to Indian Express, Mandar said that the actor used to frequently travel between Delhi and Mumbai.

“It’s really surprising for me as well. He keeps travelling between Delhi and Mumbai. Last we met at Dilip Joshi’s son’s wedding in December. We had a nice time together, but since then we have not been in touch. Just hoping and praying all is well.”

Before his mysterious absence, it was reported that Gurucharan was not well, and had high blood pressure.

Gurucharan, 47, became a known face for his portrayal of the funny character Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular daily soap Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He left the show in 2020.
