Sandeep Reddy Vang gives major update on Animal Park, says it will be 'bigger & wilder'

Sandeep Reddy Vanga shattered all the box office records with his violent drama Animal. The movie presented actor Ranbir Kapoor in the most violent avatar that no one imagined. In the post-credit scene of theAnimal, the makers teased the sequel titled Animal Park.
In part 2 of the movie, Ranbir will potentially essay a double role. Since the announcement, Animal Park has topped the list of the most-anticipated sequels that the audience is eagerly waiting for. However, now Vanga has given some updates on Animal Part 2 and when the shooting of the movie will begin.
New Updates On Animal Park
The Kabir Singh director gave a big update on the sequel at an award event as he went on to reveal that the shooting for the second part will start in 2026. Earlier, many reports claimed that the Animal Park would go into the floors in 2025.
At the award event, where the director also received one, was asked to spill some beans about the anticipated sequel. Replying to this, Reddy said that the second part is going to be ''bigger and wilder'' than Animal.
The violent dramahas faced criticism for the excess violence and misogynistic content that has been shown in the movie. Despite the backlash, the film was commercially successful, earning over Rs 9 billion at the box office.
A few months back, Ranbir gave an update on the sequel as he revealed that a few scenes of the movie wereready. Speaking tostand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India, the actor shared that they were not even aware of the Animal script.
“Bobby (Deol) sir had no idea about the story. Anil (Kapoor) sir knew the father-son story. But there were many aspects where Sandeep was very secretive about his script. Regarding Animal Park, he (Vanga) has one or two scenes ready, which he narrated to me, and they are very exciting,” Ranbir said.

Sandeep's cinematic universe has been already in the talks for a while now. At the event, he was asked about the possibility of bringing theheroes of his movies:Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Viijay Deverakonda, and Prabhas, on the screen together. Replying to this, the filmmakersaid that he had never thought about it, but it does look intriguing.
On the work front,Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently working on his nextSpirit starring Prabhas.
