She wants us to be talking about her work and not speculate about pregnancy. Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram to dispel rumours of pregnancy after the media started talking about the actress expecting her first child with husband Raghav Chadha, as she appeared at the trailer launch event of her upcoming film, Amar Singh Chamkila.
Parineeti appeared with co-star Diljit Dosanjh as they launched the trailer of their Netflix film on the life of Punjab’s original rockstar couple.
Parineeti wore a kaftan dress for the event in black colour which was loosely fitted and could easily hide a bump (if she wanted to but that’s not the case). Albeit, she looked stunning in it.
However, as pregnancy rumours started circulating on social media, Parineeti addressed it once and for all as she jokingly wrote on Instagram that she will now be “entering fitted clothes era”. The text in the video read, "POV: Wearing well-fitted clothes today because when I tried a kaftan dress..." The clip then jumped to photos of her in the black dress that sparked rumours.

In an earlier story, a text on her story read, "Kaftan dres=pregnancy, oversized shirt=pregnancy, Comfy Indian Kurta=pregnancy" with a laughing-out-loud emoji.
Amar Singh Chamkila is the highest record-selling artist of his time. Hailing from Punjab, Amar Singh Chamkila is still regarded as one of the best live-stage performers that Punjab has ever produced. He was born into a poor family. He built his way to stardomand craze and became a symbol of hope as he rose to heights of popularity in the eighties because of his powerful music which had impactful lyrics. He was murdered at the age of 27 along with his partner.
In the upcoming film of the same name, Diljit Dosanjh plays Amar Singh Chamkila while Parineeti Chopra plays his partner.
