Kangana Ranaut slap incident: Has the CISF constable been transferred to Bengaluru?

Several media reports have suggested that Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF constable who allegedly slapped actor-MP Kangana Ranaut, has been transferred from Chandigarh. Media reports claimed that she was transferred and 'reinstated' in Bengaluru.
Now, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has issued a clarification stating that Kaur is still suspended and that a departmental inquiry over the incident is ongoing.

Two days after she was elected as the MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped by CISF constableKulwinder Kaur at the Chandigarh Airport, while she was on her way to New Delhi. The incident took place at the security check area at the Chandigarh Airport. Kaur was reportedly unhappy with Kangana's comments on the farmer's protest that took place in 2021. Kangana had reportedly suggested that the women had participated in the protest for money.
Soon after the incident, Kangana shared a video on Twitter and assured that she was fine but questioned the growing 'terrorism and extremism' in the state of Punjab.

“I am getting a lot of phone calls, from the media as well as my well-wishers. First of all, I am safe, I am perfectly fine. The incident that happened today at Chandigarh airport was during the security check. As soon as I came out after the security check, the lady in the second cabin, a CISF security staff came from the side, hit me on my face and started abusing me. When I asked her why she did so, she said that she supports farmers' protests. I am safe but I am concerned about the terrorism and extremism that is increasing in Punjab,” she said in the video.

On the work front, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her much-awaited film Emergency. The film has Kangana playing former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film will be released on September 6, 2024.
