Akshay Kumar's first-look poster from Sarfira goes viral; check out release date

Bollywood’s OG Khiladi Akshay Kumar is back to impress his fans in a new avatar. The King of Action is all set to return to our small screens with Sudha Kongara’s upcoming directorial Sarfira. The makers of the film recently unveiled the first look poster of Akki's character from the movie and teased fans.

In the poster, the actor is seen rocking a stubble beard look and a pair of sunglasses as he looks into the sky. The rugged look left fans in awe with many praising the actor for the first look poster.

"The story of a man who dared to dream big! And for me this is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime! #Sarfira trailer out on 18th June. Catch Sarfira on 12th July, only in cinemas," Akshay wrote in the caption while sharing the poster on Instagram.

The poster also revealed that the film will release only in cinemas on July 12. Check it out below!

Reacting to the poster, a fan wrote, "Bombastic look." Another commented, "Finally the content king is back fulll positive vibes." A third comment read, "Best wishes @akshaykumar can't wait to watch this."

Sarfira, an official adaptation of the director’s 2020 Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, is inspired by G. R. Gopinath’s memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey. The Hindi film stars Akshay as a visionary determined to create a low-cost airline, making air travel affordable for people with low incomes.

Sarfira is jointly produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment, Jyothika and Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Akshay Kumar's Cape Of Good Films. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan and Seema Biswas with Suriya in a cameo appearance.
