'The Bold and the Beautiful', one of the first television series to start filming again, after the COVID induced lockdown and now just a day after resuming, the show has been once again halted.
According to the news agency, the reason behind pausing the production is to accommodate a large volume of coronavirus testing.
"We have paused very briefly to modify our testing protocol to better accommodate the large volume of testing needed. Safety remains our top priority as we continue to move forward with the production of the Bold and the Beautiful. B&B filmed with cast and crew today and it was a successful first day back at work," the news agency quoted a statement.
As the show guidelines involve regular testing for novel coronavirus, ''actors will be tested at least once a week, maybe multiple times a week," the head writer of the show said.
Members will keep six feet away from one another and wear masks on set, and the actors are also required to wear masks when not filming scenes. Actors will also remain at least eight feet apart during filming
After this halt, the shooting of the daytime drama will be resumed from June 23.
