Billy Ray Cyrus shares cryptic post after Firerose calls him 'evil man' amid divorce battle

Billy Ray Cyrus has seemingly responded to his estranged wife Firerose's new manipulation and abuse claims against her estranged husband.On Sunday (June 30), the 62-year-old singer shared an image on his Instagram Stories featuring the word "Fraud" above a lit candle, framed in gold, with red rose petals falling around it.

The cryptic post was shared the same day Firerose, 35, accused Billy of abuse and manipulation in a Page Six interview. The Australian musician, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, claimed that Billy subjected her to "systematic isolation" and that he had "very strict rules".

"I didn’t have a car. I was only allowed to go to the local chiropractor and allowed once a month to get my nails done," said Firerose. She also alleged that Billy made her read out her texts for permission before sending them and isolated her from everyone in her life except her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor.

"He would rage at me, shout at me at the top of his lungs. He would terrify me, yelling, ‘You stupid dumb f***ing b***h, crazy whore.’ It was illogical and insane and terrifying. He kept saying ‘dumb f***ing b***h,’ then ‘You’re the love of my life, I can’t wait to marry you,’” she added.

Firerose also told the publication that she is currently sober, however, she feels her estranged husband will use the events of the "very dark years" before sobriety against her."I think he will use every single thing against me,” she said, “He’s an evil man," she concluded.

Billy had made similar allegations against Firerose in his June 17 divorce filings. According to documents obtained by People, Billy claimed Firerose conducted a campaign to isolate him from his family, even blocking him from communicating with one of his daughters.

The father of six also claimed that he was "physically, verbally, and emotionally abused" by Firerose.

Billy and Firerose exchanged wedding vows in October 2023. Seven months later, Billy filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct. He is also seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
