In a shocking turn of events, Telugu actress Hema has been arrested on Monday by Bengaluru Police in connection with a rave party, according to reports. On May 20, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) conducted a raid at the GM Farmhouse in Singena Agrahara near Electronics City. Hema, who was at the rave party, had tested positive for drug consumption during the raid.

Following this, she received a notice from the neighbouring state police to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Wing of CCB. Despite these notices, Hema and 20 others failed to comply with police questioning, leading the court to issue arrest warrants.

The actress initially denied her presence at the party.

According to ETimes, police sources have suggested that influential figures in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh might be attempting to shield the actress from legal repercussions.

During the raid, the police confiscated various illegal substances. This included 14.40 gmof MDMA pills,six grammes of hydro cannabis, five grammes of cocaine, 1.16 grammes of MDMA crystals, a Rs 500 denomination note coated with cocaine, six grammes of hydro ganja, five mobile phones, two vehicles—a Volkswagen and a Land Rover—and DJ equipment valued at Rs 1.5 crore.

According to another report, the FIR reveals that the party was attended by 73 men and 30 women. As many as 59 men and 27 women tested positive for drugs.
