If it's true, it can’t get bigger than this! We are talking about Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project based on Ramayana, for which hehas reportedly roped in Ranbir Kapoor to play Lord Ram and his wife Alia Bhatt to play Sita. For Raavan, reports suggest thatKGF actor Yash has been roped in.
Reports started surfacing on the internet after Alia Bhatt was spotted at Nitesh Tiwari’s office yesterday. Meanwhile, it is suggested that Ranbir Kapoor has been keeping up with the progress on the film based on Ramayana.
Actress Sai Pallavi was also said to have been approached for the role of Sita, but a recent update revealed that her part has not been confirmed.
Another film on Ramayana?
There is another film on similar lines already gearing for its release -- Adipurush. The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in leading roles. The film is set to release this June. It has been in controversy ever since it was announced. It has also been in the news for the reel-life chemistry between Prabhas and Kriti that has sparked dating rumours. In fact, Prabhas recently said that he will "get married in Tirupati".

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has an awesome lineup of projects in her kitty. She is currently filming for her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh. Ranbir Kapoor was recently seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. He next has a film called Animal.
