Alia Bhatt on Salman Khan being replaced in SLB's now shelved Inshallah: ‘Whatever he decides…’

Alia Bhatt hopes that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's now-shelved romantic drama Inshallah will get back inthe cards someday.
The movie starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles got shelved due to creative differences between Salman and Sanjay.
Years after the movie got shelved, Alia finally talked about the project. During her recent interview with TheLallantop, she was asked about the possibilities of the movie getting back into the works. Praising the subject of the movie, Bhatt called Inshallah a ''brilliant'' story.

“I am doing another film with Sanjay sir called Love and War. I hope he makes the film someday because it is a brilliant story. It is a lovely love story,” the Jigra actor said. When the interviewer brought up the rumoured creative difference between Salman and Bhansali, saying that the makers might have to ‘replace the hero.’
Replying to this Alia said, “Whatever Sanjay sir decides will be the best for the film!”
Earlier in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that Alia was deeply affected after Inshallah was scrapped.

The ace director shared, “She broke down, she cracked up, cried, raved, ranted, and locked herself in a room.” After a sudden halt in Inshallah, Bhansali went on to offer her Gangubai. He added, “Then, I called her up after one week and said, ‘You’re playing Gangubai’. She said, ‘I was going to play a character in Los Angeles and now I’ve come to Kamathipura, how will I do it? I don’t know this character.’ I told her I will tap into that strong woman in you because I can see it in your eyes. I can see how convinced you are of certain things, because of your personality.”
Alia's recent movie Jigra is currently playing in the cinemas.Directed by Vasan Bala, the movie tells an emotional yet action-packed journey of a sister, who crosses all the hurdles to bring her brother back from prison. The other projects that Alia is currently working on are YRF's Alpha and Bhansali's Love and War.
