Indian cricket team's stand-in captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first for the third and final ODI at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav replaced Washington Sundar in the playing XI, while Sadeera Samarawickrama replaced Lahiru Thirimanne for Sri Lanka.

In the 2nd ODI, Rohit Sharma's unbeaten 208 helped the hosts level the series with 1-1, after they put up a total of 392-4, and in turn, restricted Sri Lanka to 251-8 in 50 overs.

India has not lost a series at home since their loss to South Africa in October 2015.
