The BSE Sensex climbed 481.56 points to close at 37, 535 on Tuesday. The Nifty meanwhile climbed 133.15 points to close at 11,301. The Sensex closed at a six-month high on Monday, after the announcement of the dates for the general elections a day earlier on Sunday. New reports Tuesday said strong global cues and uninterrupted buying by foreign investors were helping prop up the surge. And that a stronger rupee was contributing to the positive market sentiments.
