Renault has launched its premium model- Renault Captur in India.The sports utility model has beenpriced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.88 lakh.
It is available in two engine options:1.5 litre K9L diesel and 1.5 litre petrol.
The base price of the car is set for the petrol RXE variant which is priced up toRs 13.88 lakh for the top-end Platine variant available in diesel.
Sumit Sahwney, the managing director of Renault India said that in 2017 alone the SUV segment in India has grown by 46 per cent.
He added that the new launch will address the demand of customers who want SUVs with several features.
The car has beenlaunched with 50 premium features, including projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and an integrated audio system as standard features across all variants.
It is also equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist.
The model isadorned with 7.0-inch touchscreen multimedia which has the capability to connect with Bluetooth, USB, aux-in, integrated maps, and navigation. It also has SmartAccess Card keyless entry, daytime running lamps, daytime turn indicators.

Renault Captur will compete with Hyundai Creta, Tata Hexa and Mahindra XUC500 in the SUV segment.
