Paramedics and police found the bodies of 38 adults and one teenager early on Wednesday in a truck container on an industrial estate at Grays, about 32 km&nbsp;east of the British capital.

Police have not yet identified the victims but ITV reported that they were all Chinese. Essex Police said they could not confirm the report and there was no immediate comment from the Chinese foreign ministry or from China's London embassy.

Detectives were continuing to question the truck driver, a 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland. A source familiar with the investigation said he was Mo Robinson from Portadown in the British province and the BBC reported that police had raided two houses in Northern Ireland as part of the investigation.

Sharif is currently under a 14-day physical remand granted by the NAB in connection to the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case. 
 
The jailed leader was arrested by NAB on October 11 and was produced before an accountability court in Lahore. The court has ordered the accountability bureau to present Nawaz on October 25. 
 
Sharif is already serving a seven-year imprisonment in the Al-Azizia Mills corruption case.

He further said that the federal government was not competent to steer the country in the right direction, which was the reason that everyone across Pakistan was raising voice against its "anti-people" policies. 
 
However, Bhutto stated that his party would certainly protest against the "selected" government, but "we'll not become part of any act to derail democracy; or allow anyone to do the same". 
 
The PPP leader also said that he was not seeing the government last long for creating self-inflicting hard conditions. 
 
"Everyone is fed up with this puppet government," said Bhutto-Zardari. 
 
"Every political party and people belonging to every sphere of life, including traders, teachers, doctors and workers, are unhappy with the government's policies. All this is quite not up to scratch and gives me no assurance to say Imran Khan will complete his term successfully", he added. 
 
He said that the federal government should take measures that could create unity and consensus among the people of Pakistan, but that could not be possible without solving people's problem.

"I swear that I will act according to the constitution and fulfil my responsibility as the symbol of the state and of the unity of the people," the 59-year-old declared, his voice slightly hoarse, in front of about 2,000 participants, including Britain's Prince Charles.

"I sincerely hope that Japan will develop further and contribute to the friendship and peace of the international community, and to the welfare and prosperity of human beings through the people's wisdom and ceaseless efforts."

The first Japanese emperor born after World War Two, Naruhito acceded to the throne when his father, Akihito, became the first Japanese monarch to abdicate in two centuries after worrying that advancing age might make it hard to perform official duties.

"As he is young and energetic with outstanding leadership, I hope he'll support the people of Japan, which has faced continuous disasters and typhoons," said Tomoko Shirakawa, 51, who was among small groups of umbrella-clutching supporters outside the palace.

The long-planned celebrations were tempered by Typhoon Hagibis, which killed at least 80 people when it tore through Japan ten&nbsp;days ago, and pouring rain on Tuesday.

A public parade was postponed until next month to allow the government to devote its attention to the typhoon clean-up, while Tuesday's inclement weather forced the palace to scale back the number of courtiers in ancient robes taking part in the courtyard ceremony although the skies cleared as it began.

Naruhito began the day's ceremonies by reporting his enthronement to his imperial ancestors at one of three shrines on the palace grounds, dressed in a black headdress and pure white robes with a long train borne by an attendant.

He was followed later by Empress Masako, 55, his Harvard-educated wife, dressed in 12-layered white robes and attended by two women in violet robes to arrange her train.

Tradition-Bound ceremony

For the main ceremony in the Matsu-no-Ma, or Hall of Pine, the most prestigious room in the palace, Naruhito wore a traditional burnt-orange robe and headdress, as his father did nearly three decades ago.

He declared his enthronement from the "Takamikura", a 6.5-metre (21 feet) high pavilion that weighs about 8 tonnes, with an ancient sword and a jewel, two of the so-called Three Sacred Treasures, placed beside him.

Together with a mirror called Yata-no-Kagami, which is kept at the Ise Grand Shrine, the holiest site in Japan's Shinto religion, the three treasures comprise the regalia that symbolises the legitimacy of the emperor.

Masako, wearing 12-layered robes and an elaborate, upswept hairstyle, also took part, her throne smaller.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe delivered a congratulatory speech before guests including Prince Charles, who with then-wife Princess Diana attended Akihito's enthronement, as well as U.S. Transport Secretary Elaine Chao and Myanmar civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Abe then led the assembled dignitaries in giving three "banzai" cheers for the Emperor.

Naruhito is unusual among recent Japanese emperors since his only child, 17-year-old Aiko, is female and as such cannot inherit the throne. The United States was awarded ownership of a North Korean cargo ship that was seized for violating international sanctions, the US Justice Department said.

The Wise Honest -- the first North Korean vessel to be seized by the US for sanctions violation,&nbsp;was caught carrying a $3 million shipment of coal in Indonesian waters last year and later handed over to the US.

The latest ruling by the Southern District of New York finalises the US government's seizure of the North Korean vessel and ends its use in a "criminal scheme", the Justice Department said in a statement.

"This order of forfeiture sinks the Wise Honest's career as one of North Korea's largest sanctions-busting vessels," said Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers.

The court ordered the vessel to be forfeited to the US government and for the Treasury Department to "dispose of" it.

Washington filed a civil forfeiture complaint about the ownership of the Wise Honest in May, court documents showed.

Petitions were filed in July and September by the families of two victims of North Korean torture including the parents of Otto Warmbier, a US student who died shortly after Pyongyang released him in a state of coma.

The Warmbiers and the family of Kim Dong Shik,&nbsp;a pastor believed to have been detained, tortured and executed in the North in 2000 -- were seeking a claim in the vessel but had "resolved" their petitions, the documents showed.

The Justice Department thanked the Warmbiers for "their willingness to voluntarily withdraw their claim" in its statement.

The Wise Honest -- one of the largest cargo ships in North Korea's fleet,&nbsp;was detained in Indonesia in April 2018 and seized by the US a year later.

It marked the first such seizure after years of high seas cat-and-mouse games in which North Korean shippers renamed their vessels, used false flags and turned off their tracking devices to avoid detection.

The seizure came with nuclear talks deadlocked since the collapse of the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi in February.
