YouTuber Andre Beadle, famous for drag-racing videos, dies in car crash

A 25-year-old YouTuber, who was famous for his drag-racing videos, died in a car crash on Wednesday (Nov 6) in New York.

New York police told People magazine that Andre Beadle, known online as 1Stockf30, was reportedly driving eastbound “at a high rate of speed” in a 2023 BMW when he lost control of the vehicle.

Authorities said Beadle took a sudden turn to the right while driving due to which his car collided with a metal pole at night.

Emergency responders reached the accident spot around 1 am and took him to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Further investigation into the matter has been launched.

Beadle's brother told CBS News that it was not the YouTuber's first accident.

"He crashed on a track a couple of months ago, and then it was a pretty bad accident, too. But the barriers and all that, he had a helmet and all that, saved him. But this one, just, I don't know," Alico Beadle told CBS News.

"He loved cars. He talked about cars every day. That's what he does: Cars, cars, cars," Beadle's mother Everith McCray told CBS News.

'Driven by passion'

Beadle had around 59,500 subscribers on YouTube and nearly 250k followers on Instagram where he used to share content on street racing and reviews of high-performance cars.

Some of the videos by Beadle included disclaimers urging viewers to “follow the road code and drive with care.”

Via his Instagram account, Beadle's fans and supporters have been invited to gather at Haffen Park on November 8 for a balloon release in his honour.

“Bring some balloons and come celebrate life with the young legend and trendsetter," the post read describing Beadle as “driven by passion” and “fueled by the thrill.”
