'Will sign executive order to keep families together,' says Trump after criticism over immigration policy

As world leaders condemned the use of 'cages' as detention facilities, US President Trump said today he will shortly sign an executive order to keep migrant families together at the Mexico border
"We want to keep families together," Trump said, adding,"We are signing an executive order in a little while."
Earlier, House Speaker Paul Ryan had informed that US lawmakers will vote tomorrow(Thursday) on a bill to stop migrant children from being separated from their parents amid a firestorm of protests.
"We do not want children taken away from their parents. We can enforce our immigration laws without breaking families apart. The administration says it wants Congress to act and we are," Ryan said.
The US move was roundly condemned by world leaders including British PM Theresa May and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
May said migrant children being keptin cages was "deeply disturbing" and "wrong", adding, "when we disagree with the United States we tell them so," she told MPs in Parliament.
Ryan added that the legislation to be brought up in front of lawmakers would also address the issue of undocumented immigrants brought in illegally as children under the "Dreamers" programme.
"The bottom line is this -- we are going to take action to keep families together while we enforce our immigration laws," Ryan added.
