US presidential election: After Donald Trump, Elon Musk invites Kamala Harris for online discussion on X

Hours after hosting former US president and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for an online discussion on X, billionaire Elon Musk on Tuesday (Aug 13) invited Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for a similar conversation.

"Happy to host Kamala on an X spaces too," Musk said in a post on his X account. The post has garnered numerous reactions.The Trump campaign reacted to the post with a folded hands emoji.

'Kamala Harris seems to struggle with...'

Reacting toMusk's post, X user Whole Mars Catalog supported the idea of an open discussion with Harris. "...would love to hear it. she (Harris)seems to struggle with forming coherent sentences," the user said.

Another user said that Harris, the current vice president, would never have the courage to do an unscripted interview or conversation.

"If she doesn’t… I’ll vote 4 Trump," another user said.

"I can't think of a single question that you could ask her that she could answer without notes or without laughing. It would be the shortest X spaces in X History," user Wendy Patterson said.

Trump reacts to Harris replacing Biden for election

During his conversation with Elon Musk on X, Trump expressed anger thatHarrishad been swapped in for Biden on the Democratic ticket.

“She hasn't done an interview since this whole scam started. And say what you want. This was the coup. This was a coup of the president of the United States. He didn't want to leave. And they said we can do it the nice way. Oh, we can do it the hard way,” Trump told Musk.
