'US has dropped war games in Korean Peninsula, ready to change the world,' says Trump after meeting Kim

US President Trump praised North Korean leader Kim Jong-un calling him "very talented" and a "special person" as he addressed a press conference after an exhilarating day of high-level diplomacy on Tuesday.
Trump, however, cautioned that "sanctions on North Korea will remain till Kim dumps nukes", reassuring reporters that Kim had agreed to "complete denuclearisation".
On the question of the North and South Korean war of 1950-53 which ended in an uneasy truce, Trump said," the Korean conflict will end soon," adding that the US has dropped war games in the Korean Peninsula.
"It would be inappropriate to have war games," he said, adding that "we can hope for peace now".
The US president said follow up talks between US-North Korea will take place next week.
"Kim agreed to vigorous negotiations," Trump said. "We are ready to change the world," an elated US president said. "I thank Kim for taking a bold step," he added.
"We are ready to start a new history," Trump said at the press conference.
"North Korea did the right thing by attending the Winter Olympics," he said while trying to de-escalate tensions.
In a joint agreement earlier, Trump and Kim Jong-un agreed to "complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula".
