US President Donald Trump did the unthinkable as he "tweeted" from China even though the micro-blogging site is banned in the country.

In his tweet, the US president thanked President Xi and his wife for an "unforgettable afternoon", and then threatened North Korea, saying theUS should "not be underestimated".
The US president even retweeted from the @Potus Twitter handle openly flouting China's Internet rules.
Earlier, talking to AFP a senior White House official had said, "The president will tweet whatever he wants" as he was leaving South Korea.
"That's his way of communicating directly with the American people. Why not? So long as he can access his Twitter account, because Twitter is banned in China along with Facebook and most of the other social media."
"I'm sure we've got the gear aboard this airplane to make it happen," the White House official had added.
The US president had tweeted just as he was leaving South Korea with many experts of the view the president may be off Twitter during his three-day visit to China, however, Trump surprised everyone by tweeting from the "Great firewall" of China.
