Turkey will take measures to repatriate Rohingya refugees

Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Numan Kurtulmus has said his country will take measures to repatriate Rohingya refugees who are currently in Bangladesh.

Hundreds more refugees on Sunday walked through rice paddies from the Naf river separating the two countries into Bangladesh, straining scarce resources of aid groups and local communities already helping tens of thousands.Kurtulmus, said his country will stand beside Bangladesh to help resolve the Rohingya issue.

Later on the former Turkish deputy prime minister Kurtulmus had assured people for constructing 20,000-25,000 shelter homes for around 100,000 Rohingya refugees, where each of the homes will accommodate a family consisting at best six members.
