On Saturday Turkey urged the United States to "immediately withdraw" its personnel from Manbij, northern Syria.
The city of Manbij has been held by a Syrian Kurdish militia. Turkey launched an offensive last week to fight the Syrian Kurdish militia.
"It is necessary for the US to immediately withdraw from Manbij," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu noted.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also threatened to expand the military operation against the People's Protection Units (YPG) on Friday.
The Turkish President threatened to expand military operations from its Syrian enclave in Afrin to Manbij.
