Preparations for the June 12th meeting between Trump and Kim is underway.
After months of wrangling over the issue, the White House said today President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's meeting will take place at 9:00 am (0100 GMT) in Singapore on June 12.
President Trump who few weeks had declared the summit was going to happen after earlier nearly calling it off will now meet Kim for the first time in an Asian country.
"We are actively preparing for the June 12th summit between the president and the North Korean leader," spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

"We feel like things are continuing to move forward, and good progress has been made," the White House spokesman added.
