Reports said five terrorists were arrested in Morocco and one in Melilla, a Spanish enclave in North Africa.
Spain's interior ministry said today it has arrested six terrorists who were preparing large scale attacks.
The interior ministry said Moroccan authorities were involved in "dismantling a jihadist cell composed of six people".
AFP reported five terrorists were arrested in Morocco and one in Melilla, a Spanish enclave in North Africa.
Last month a terrorist drove a van into a crowd in Barcelona killing fourteen people and wounded several others. Spanish police later shot five would-be attackers after confronting them in Cambrils seafront just hours later as Spanish police sought to contain the attacks.
Four men suspected of involvement in the terror cell which carried out the attacks in Spain were later produced in a Madrid court. The case continues.
