Skygazers could witness the glorious 'supermoon' on Sunday night when the moon will be the brightest and biggest in at least next 15 years.
The next 'supermoon' will happen in 2034.
At 21:17 pm IST the moon will appear about 7 per centbigger and15 per centbrighter. However, the difference will not be very noticeable.
The rare sighting happens when the Moon reaches its closest point in its orbit around Earth.
The full moon on Sunday night marks the first and only supermoon of 2017.
According to reports, NASA informed that the supermoon on Sunday is the first in a series of three supermoons and the other two will appear on January 1 and 31, 2018.
The last supermoon was seen on November 14, 2016.
