Sudan's National Intelligence and Security Service head, Salih Ghosh has resigned from his post, military rulers said on Saturday.
"The chief of the transitional military council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, has accepted the resignation of... the chief of NISS," the transitional military council said.
Earlier today, Sudan's Defence Minister Awad Ibn Auf stepped down abruptly as head of the country's transitional ruling military council.
"In order to ensure the cohesion of the security system, and the armed forces in particular, from cracks and strife, and relying on God, let us begin this path of change," Ibn Auf said.
Meanwhile, the country's military said on Friday that they will not extradite ousted president, Omar al-Bashir.
