Watch: SpaceX rocket launches communications satellite

A SpaceX Falcon 9 blasted into space from Cape Canaveral, Florida early on Monday morning.

The rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stationand carried a SES-12communcations satellite that was deployed about 32 minutes after liftoff, according to SpaceX.

It will help telephone companies, mobile network operators and internet service providers to deliver more reliable cellular backhaul and faster broadband service.

This was the 56th launch of Falcon 9 rocket and SpaceX's 11th flight this year, USmedia reported.
