Alphabet Inc’s Google on Tuesday announced its plans to test a new software programming system. The software will enable emails to continuously update information and facilitate greater interactivity.
For an instance, the update will enable Gmail users to see automatically updated flight information in a booking confirmation email itself.
Users can also "fill out surveys without leaving a message or review close-up shots of products in a marketing pitch without opening a browser window," notes a Reuters report.
The new development comes as an extension of Google’s AMP (accelerated mobile pages) project.
