Russian military helicopter Mi-28 crashes, crew killed

An Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in an uninhabited area of southwestern Russia, killing the crew, the TASS news agency said on Thursday (July 25).

Quoting a source in the defence ministry, the agency said,"an Mi-28 crashed in the Kaluga region, with no survivors."

"Preliminary findings from the Russian Defense Ministry, as reported by Interfax, suggest a technical error led to the fatal helicopter crash

It crashed in a forest about 150 kilometres (93 miles) from the Ukrainian border, a local official told TASS.
