Russia seems to have gone too far in its efforts to encourage Russians to vote in the upcoming Presidential elections. A picture of Russia regional deputy wife is doing the rounds on the internet. Yulia Dyatlova poses with a "We're going to the polls" banner along with eight other 'suggestively' nude women.
The image has sparked media attention as well as condemnation from all across. In the picture, Yulia Dyatlova, the wife of Aleksandr Dyatlov -- who is a deputy with the United Russia party in a local assembly -- is seen surrounded by eight long-legged young women, apparently nude.
The image was posted online by an image-making agency owned by Dyatlova.
In a press release, Dyatlova shared that her husband is neither embarrassed nor jealous of her photoshoot. According to Dyatlova, the image represents Russian women and their diversity. The motto was to suggest that women from all walks of life will go out to poll this Sunday, others should follow in large numbers.
