
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Oman on Sunday. The visit will mark the second leg of his three-nation tour.
He will be welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Council of Ministers of Oman, Sayyid Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Saidat the Royal Airport.
PM Modi will meet Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Said at Bait Al Barakah Royal Palace.
The two leaders will discuss bilateral cooperation in a special dinner at the Palace.
Sultan Qaboos bin Said was once taught by former president of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma in Pune.
PM Modi will also sit on Sultanate Qaboos seat. He will be the first world leader to sit on the seat.
Prime Minister will be speaking from the royal box in Sultan Qaboos stadium. Royal box is used by his majesty Sultan Qaboos only & PM will be 1st visiting dignitary who is being given honour of addressing the community from the box: Indra Mani Pandey, India ambassador to Oman
He will also visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and a 125-year-old Shiva temple in Muscat.
PM Modi will also address at an Indian community programme at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Oman.
