
Thirteen people, which included two children, were killed in a major accident between along-haul passenger bus and a truck in Russia on Sunday.
Travelling fromSamara on the Volga river to Izhevskaround 900 kilometres (550 miles) east of Moscow, the driver was possibly blinded by the headlights, said the investigative committee that probes accidents and disasters.

The bus rolled over and caught fire as a result of the collision and both the drivers willbearrested, said the regional ministry.

Russia is prone to road accidents mainly because of drunk driving. Last year more than 20,000 people died in road accidents.
