North Korea to dismantle nuclear test site in May: South Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said during Friday's summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in that he would close the country's nuclear test site next month, Moon's office said.

"Kim said during the summit... That he would carry out the closing of the nuclear test site in May," reports said quoting Moon's spokesmanon Sunday.

During Friday summit, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and South Korea's President Moon Jae-in agreed to work to rid the peninsula of nuclear weapons.

Their summit came just months after warlike rhetoric from the North Korean leader.

The office also said North Korea would change its time zone - currently half an hour different - to match that of the South, a BBC report said.
