North Korea may declare thecompletion of its nuclear programme in a year's time, South Korea's unification minister said Tuesday.

"Experts think North Korea will take two to three more years but they are developing their nuclear capabilities faster than expected and we cannot rule out the possibility Pyongyang may declare the completion of their nuclear programme in a year," Reuters reported Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyonas saying at a media event in Seoul.

It was earlier reported on Tuesday that North Korea might be preparing for yet another missile test.
