Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican Party Presidential candidate, was shot at in an alleged assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday (July 13).

The US Secret Service (SS), responsible for the security of former president Donald Trump, has stated that "multiple shots" were fired towards the Republican leader from an elevated position outside the rally venue.

The shooter has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Mathew Crook by the New York Post. His motive for trying to kill Trump is not clear at the moment. He attempted the horrific act using anAR-style rifle.
