Taiwan was hit by a7.5-magnitude earthquake early Wednesday (April 3), killing four and injuring over 700 across the island. It was the biggest quake to hit Taiwan since 1999 when around 2,400 people were killed in a quake of 7.6 magnitude tremor. In other news,United States President Joe Biden on Tuesday (April 2) said that Israel's government "has not done enough to protect aid workers" in Gaza amid its war with Hamas.

Taiwan has been hit by the strongest earthquake in 25 years. The earthquake, which had 7.5-magnitude, rocked the east coast of the country and also led to Japan issuing tsunami warnings as the tremors were reportedly felt as far as Shanghai.
