Morning brief: Here's a look at the top stories.
The Pakistan government has held people responsible for using too much VPN which resulted in slowing down the internet. The governmentwhile conveniently blaming the people for the problem, did not even acknowledge that it is the government itself that has caused the problems with the internet to begin with.
In the South China Sea,Beijing claimed on Monday (Aug 19)that a Filipino vessel "deliberately collided" with a Chinese vessel. The Philippines refuted China's claims andsaid that two of its coast guard vessels "encountered unlawful and aggressive manoeuvres" from Chinese vessels near Sabina Shoal.
In other news from around the world,Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that the Ukrainian military's invasion of Russia's Kursk region aimed to create a buffer zone to prevent further attacks by Moscow across the border.
