Montana US Presidential Election 2024: The United States voted for the presidential elections on November 5.

The voting was held across the 50 states in the country and the Republican Party emerged victorious as President-elect Donald Trump defeated Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Montana is located in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States and shares borders with Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

The total population of Montana is approximately 1.1 million and around 77.5 per cent of the population is currently registered voters, which makes it more than 7,41,000.

Results of 2024 election

In the presidential elections, Trump won over Harris in Montana. In the Senate elections, Tim Sheehy (Republican) defeated Jon Tester (Democratic) by garnering 271,806 votes. 

In the House of Representatives elections, Ryan Zinke (Republican) defeated Monica Tranel (Democratic) in District 1 and Troy Downing (Republican) won over John Driscoll (Democratic) in District 2.
