‘Missed you in the race’: Trump and Biden ‘bromance’ in AI video, spend day drinking and dancing

President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump met at the White House on Wednesday (November 13), following Biden’s invitation. This meeting upholds the long-standing tradition signifying transfer of power between administrations.

This marked the first time Biden and Trump had met since their debate in late June, before Biden made the decision to end his re-election bid. Biden congratulated Trump on securing a second term and welcomed him back to the White House.

Besides the videos of their highly anticipated meeting, one video has particularly captured the attention of viewers. The AI-generated video reimagined Biden and Trump’s meeting in a much different way than it went down.

The video starts with Trump and Biden sitting at the meeting table. Biden tells Trump, “This job is not fun.” Trump responds, “Missed you in the race,” and to which Biden replies he wishes they could get out of here.

From there, the video changesto a montage of Biden and Trump having a fun day out together. They go to a fair, eat corndogs and ice cream, go biking, attend a baseball game, and even go fishing and horseback riding. They also sing, dance, visit a casino, go for a hike and roast marshmallows while camping. The video ends with the two men back at the table, where Biden wistfully says, “Maybe one day…”

The video has garnered millions of views and multiple comments from netizens. “AI is so scary. It’s so realistic,” commented one user. Another wrote, “Roller skating had me laughing, then the roulette table had me howling.”
