Massive fire in Moscow hotel, guests evacuated

A massive fire struck at Moscow'sCosmos hotel on Monday which prompted an evacuation of over 200 people.

As per reports, the fire started at the 15th floor of the hotel and 15 fire crews were appointed and 23 fire brigades were deployed to get the situation under control.

The emergency services said 230 people have been evacuated from the hotel after the fire broke out, reports said.

Eyewitnesses said that thick black smoke could be seen coming from four of the hotel's windows.

The cause of the fire is still not clear. Further details are awaited.
