A major fire has broken out in Camden Lock Market in London which is a popular tourist destination in the northern part of the city.

Reports say at least 70firefighters have arrived on the scene to douse the fire.

There are no reports of any casulties so far.

London Fire Brigade Service said the first, second and third floors including the roof of a building in the market was on fire. The situation was under control, it added.

"The Brigade's 999 Control Officers have taken multiple calls to the highly visible blaze and people are asked to avoid the area," the Fire Service said on Facebook.

The Camden Lock Market fire has occurredjust a few weeks after the Grenfell Tower fire in which atleast 78 people were declared dead and several still missing.
