US President Joe Biden kicked off his two-day visit to Warsaw ahead of the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He is due to meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

US President Joe Biden on Tuesday said the West was not planning an attack on Russia, as he delivered a speech in Poland ahead of the first anniversary of Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. "The West is not plotting to attack Russia as Putin said today. Millions of Russian citizens who only want to live in peace with their neighbours are not the enemy," Biden told a crowd gathered outside the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

According to CNN, US President Joe Biden mentioned Russian President Vladimir Putin’s name 10 times in his speech in Warsaw as he rallied the world behind Ukraine.

By contrast, Putin didn't name Biden once in his lengthy and belligerent address from Moscow earlier in the day.

Biden said Putin had unleashed a "murderous assault," ordered tanks into Ukraine and attempted to starve the world.

President Biden said that US and allies will announce more sanctions against Russia this week.

Biden further said that he will host every member of NATO in USA in 2024 to celebrate the strongest alliance in the world i.e. NATO

"Our NATO unity is strong as rock."

US President Joe Biden made a strong pitch for sovereignty and democracy as the Russia-Ukraine war is about to mark one-year anniversary.

“One year later, we stand for sovereignty, we stand for democracy. Putin left with burnout tanks and disarray. Putin thought NATO will fracture and divide but NATO was more united than ever. Putin still doubts our convection, our strength power, our unity but one thing should be clear that we would not divide."
