Jeff Bezos takes a walk with his 'new dog' at tech conference 

Jeff Bezos, the richest man on the planet, made a public appearance that was nothing short of a scene lifted off a sci-fi movie. Amazon's CEO tweeted out a picture of himself with his "new dog".

Dressed in a simple black tee, classic deep blue denim and a comfy half jacket, Bezos walked right next to his robot pet, SpotMini, at the Mars 2018 conference in Boston.

"Taking my new dog for a walk at the #MARS2018 conference. #BostonDynamics," read Bezos's tweet.

Bezos was at Amazon's annual robotics conference that began on Monday dedicated to all things tech including robotics and space exploration.

SpotMini already enjoys a humongous fan following across the globe, thanks to viral videos featuring the robot trying to open doors.

On sifting through social media feed, one learns that Bezos was also busy playing beer pong with another robot at the conference.
