On the eve of the presidential elections, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump shared a lengthy thread on social media platform X to share her perspective on “life’s lessons” but the post included no mention of her father.

Ivanka, who worked as an adviser to the president in the White House during Trump's tenure, shared banal insights into life in those 17 “truths” that she claimed to have learned throughout her life. The post garnered more than 10 million views on X in a few hours.

In the posts, Ivanka asked followers to “be open to the truth, wherever it leads,” and “approach people and life with love and positivity". She began the post by saying that “family and friends are everything" but did not mention Trump ahead of the crucial Election Day.

“Nourish these relationships, check in on them, and let people know you care, even across distances,” she wrote. Ivanka suggested people “forgive people” and choose “words that heal, not harm.” She said, “trust yourself,” “nourish your body” and “get sunshine daily.”

In her post, she also added quotes from personalities like Dolly Parton, psychologist Carl Jung and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. Ivanka emphasised the need to remain “open to the truth” and spend one's time and energy on “what truly matters.”

“Be open to the truth, wherever it leads. Listen, reflect, challenge, and grow. Cultivate creativity and expansion in life and embrace new ideas, connections, and art. Approach people and life with love and positivity. @DollyParton said, ‘I don’t criticize and condemn; I love and accept’,” Ivanka wrote.

Ivanka stays away from her father's political bid

Ivanka maintained a low public profile during her father's 2024 presidential campaign. When Trump announced his re-election bid, his daughter said that she doesn't wish to be involved in politics.

“I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” wrote Ivanka on Instagram.

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena," she added.
