Jarvis, there seems to be a problem. Iron Man's suit, which actor Robert Downey Jr wore in the first Iron Man film in 2008, has been stolen from a movie prop storage facility in Los Angeles.
Police are currently investigating the case after a report was filed Tuesday. The suit is reportedly valued at $325,000.
The suit reportedly went missing between February and April 25th. "It was reported by the storage facility that the prop was missing. It is considered a burglary,” an LAPD spokesperson told PEOPLE.
Downey Jr wore the red and gold suit, the Mark 3, in the first Iron Man movie, released in 2008. The film kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has become the highest-grossing film franchise in history, with earnings exceeding $16 billion over the last decade.
Iron Man also catapulted Robert Downey Jr into the big league and made him one of the highest paid movies stars.
